Addresses.com looks like a holdover from the phone-book era — a free white-pages directory for looking up names, addresses, and phone numbers — but the data on it isn't its own. The site's footer describes it as "Addresses.com powered by Intelius," states that the personal information it displays is provided solely by Intelius, LLC, and warns that a search may ultimately direct you to Intelius.com, where the full report is sold. In other words, Addresses.com is a free front window for the Intelius/PeopleConnect people-search network — and that changes how removal works.
Here's the part most older guides miss: the site's dedicated opt-out form at addresses.com/optout.php no longer exists — as of this writing it returns a 404 page. There is no Addresses.com-specific removal form anymore. Removal runs through the PeopleConnect Suppression Center, the same portal that handles Intelius, TruthFinder, and Instant Checkmate. The upside: if you've already completed a suppression there, Addresses.com should already be covered. If you haven't, here's the flow.
Check your listing on Addresses.com
Go to addresses.com. Before you can search, the site puts up a "Public Records Notice" — a consent modal restating that Addresses.com is powered by Intelius and requiring you to check I AGREE (to Intelius' privacy policy and FCRA-use restrictions) before the page unlocks. Agreeing just dismisses the gate; it doesn't create an account or affect your right to opt out. Then search your name to confirm what's showing — name, city, age, and partial phone numbers are the kinds of basic details its free directory surfaces. Note the city and age on the record so you can pick out your entry from namesakes later. Don't click through to any paid report; you don't need it to opt out.
Go to the PeopleConnect Suppression Center
Skip the dead optout.php URL. The site's own footer link — "Exercise My Data Privacy Rights" — takes you to the Intelius Privacy Center, where "Manage My Suppression Rules" under Public Data Tools hands you off to the Suppression Center. Or just go directly to suppression.peopleconnect.us. The tool is free at every step — if you've landed somewhere asking for payment, you're on the wrong site.
Verify your email, then enter your name and date of birth
Enter an email address you can open immediately, agree to the terms, and click the verification link PeopleConnect sends — the flow stays locked until you do, and the links expire quickly. Then provide your full legal name and date of birth, plus any prior names (a maiden name, for instance), since records under old names can exist as separate entries.
Select your record and verify your identity
The tool searches PeopleConnect's data and shows candidate records. Match on age and location history, not just name. Then complete the second verification step: a code sent to a phone number or email address. If the masked phone number it offers isn't yours, verify by email instead — that's stale file data, not a sign you have the wrong record.
Set the record to "Suppressed" and confirm
On the final screen, set the "Desired Behavior" dropdown to Suppressed and save — the form warns this can't be undone, so read the screen before committing. Suppression is commonly reported to take effect within about 48 hours, though PeopleConnect doesn’t publish a turnaround. After a couple of days, search your name on Addresses.com again to confirm the listing is gone, and repeat Steps 4–5 for any additional records under name variants.

Because Addresses.com displays Intelius data rather than maintaining its own, a single completed suppression clears your record across the PeopleConnect people-search network — Intelius, TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate, and US Search included. Suppression stops today's record from displaying; it doesn't stop the pipeline behind it. PeopleConnect keeps ingesting public-records data, and a new address, phone number, or name variant can generate a fresh record that your earlier request never touched — on Addresses.com and its sister sites alike.
