The process

Four steps from "it's everywhere" to "it's gone."

DelistMyData isn't live yet — this is the process we're building, and the one founding members will get first access to.

01

Tell us who to look for

Your name, approximate location, and any past addresses. That's the whole intake — no account, no SSN, nothing a data broker doesn't already have.

02

We build your exposure file

We search known data broker and people-search sites for listings that match you, and compile every hit — address, phone, relatives, past employers — into one record.

03

We file the removal requests

Each site has its own opt-out process, buried on purpose. We submit the request the way each site requires it, and keep evidence that we did.

04

We keep watching

Data brokers relist people constantly — often within months. We rescan on a schedule and re-file removals automatically, so one opt-out doesn't quietly expire.

Why not just do it yourself?

500+ sites

across state broker registries, each with its own removal form, wait time, and re-verification rules.

No deadline

Removals aren't permanent. Manual opt-outs need to be repeated as brokers relist you from new data sources.

Hours, not minutes

Doing this by hand for even a handful of sites takes real time — DelistMyData is built to do it continuously, in the background.
